A—Z is an open source project capturing the themes and composites that shape our present. From A to Z, every issue a new theme.

Produced, narrated and designed by HouseTMM and OCM, co-curated by artists and thinkers from various fields, with contributions from a diverse community of creatives.

Eventually consisting of 26 image-heavy paper digests and an open digital backlog, Absolute Zeitgeist is essentially a side-project. We make the magazine in order to quench our own, and hopefully our community’s thirst for discovering new connections in our time. We capture stories independent from brands, institutions and clients, free to explore how and why we tell them.

We research, collect, create, print, distribute and publish.

We invite the Metalabel community to share input for our issues via https://www.are.na/absolute-zeitgeist/channels. Where we ourselves openly research next issue’s theme.

For each issue we invite an independent curator; a person or group who submits an essay, work, or selection of content for said issue.
